A. Well, it largely depends on your needs. We cater to variety of clients with or without internal DBA's. We provide you an Extended DBA Team that manages your databases remotely and we can effectively combine the onsite / remote model to meet specific needs. For companies with existing DBA?s staff, our services can be used to efficiently optimize resources and increase productivity.

Q. How is the task of database administration
distributed among your team?

A. We assign one DBA to be the 'primary' DBA for your company site. The others on the team share the monitoring of non-business day hours and take part in technical discussions on improvements to the performance of your database. To make communication easier, one key contact is designated for your company.

Q. What if my company decides to hire more in-house DBA's after signing up with Wissen? What do we do?

A. No problem. Work with us till you can fix up your resources. Our services are offered on a monthly/yearly basis. Use the time you work with us to find the right person for your company.
