Your Commitment

 

 

Progression of Career at Wissen

 

Your career path at Wissen will basically have five phases:

 

0.         Basic Training

1.         Induction and HR Training and Evaluation

2.         On-the-job Training

3.         Self Sustaining Growth Phase

 

 

Basic Training:

Once selected, you will have to undergo External Training. The Security Deposit paid at the time of interview will be used for the training. You will be evaluated on the basis of your grasp of what has been taught in the external training before you go into the next phase of internal training and induction.

 

Induction and HR Training and Evaluation

Once the earlier stage is cleared, you will go through a rigorous program of internal training that includes among others HR, Compliance and Security Policies, specifics of role-specific methodologies as applicable to the client environment. You will be tested on ALL the topics you have been trained in and clearing these papers is a must to qualify for the next phase.

 

On-the-job Training:

Once your ability to learn, pick up speed and your ability to implement what you have learnt in your actual job is proven, you will be put on training. This training will be in continuation of and in addition to the training that you would have already acquired in the earlier phases. In this phase you will actually start doing tasks other than the basic ones you would have done in the earlier phase. This will require you to be more independent than before and you will be expected to refer and make your own documentation and most importantly practice the standards of excellence as spelt out by our clients and the company, without being supervised and reminded.

 

Self Sustaining Growth Phase:

Once you are through the Training Phase you are expected to start working independently. By this time you are likely to be fairly confident of your abilities and would have arrived at the point of motivating yourself. You would also acquire knowledge required for your job and are on a self-learning path. You will be able to define your own goals within and outside the organization and can now grasp for something you can envision and dream. Your responsibilities within the organization will start to grow and your leadership skills will now be honed and deployed, depending upon your attitude.

 

This is when you will start making worthwhile contribution to yourself, to the company and to the client.

Salary

 

We have a performance-linked salary structure which would be based on the credits you earn through Monthly Performance Score Card which records your progress and contribution.

 

Selection Procedure

                                     

We are sure you can appreciate the efforts put in by the company in building you up. Efforts of a similar scale are being deployed while selecting the candidates. In order to ensure efficiency and also effectiveness of our selection process, we need to ensure that casual walkers do not deprive the genuinely interested candidates of their well deserved opportunity.

The recruitment procedure for freshers to the entry level position is as follows:

 

Round I - Screening Test

 

Testing for a fair knowledge of technical concepts, English language skills, reasoning, aptitude and numerical ability in the following pattern:

A Screening test would be conducted on Sunday, 15th November 2009 between 10 AM and 5 PM at Government College for Women, Opp. Hyderabad Public School Begumpet. For appearing in the screening test, you need to register yourself by paying Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).

The names of candidates who clear the Screening Test will be put up on our website www.wisseninfotech.com/result.htm after 5 PM on Friday, 20th November 2009.

 

Non-Local candidates can get themselves registered at the Venue - Government College for Women, Opp. Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet on the day of the test - Sunday, 15th November 2009 between 10 AM and 3 PM. However, we strongly recommend that you register yourself in advance so that you will be allotted the time-slot for the test and you would not have to wait for long.

 

 

Round II - Group Discussion

 

Testing the Team play, language and analyzing abilities.

 

The candidates selected in the screening test will have to appear for the Group Discussion. The topic for the group discussion will be announced by the panel just before the start of the Group Discussion Round.

 

The time slots for the Group Discussion would be displayed on our website along with the results of the Screening Test. Please note that The candidates who get selected to this stage will have to deposit Rs.15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only), before appearing for the Interview.

 

Round III - Technical & HR round

 

The candidates who get selected to this stage will have to deposit Rs.15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only), before appearing for the Interview. Again, this is not to inconvenience you in any way but to make sure you would not throw away a grand career after having deprived someone else of his/her fair chance. This would be used for your basic training when you get selected and join the company.

 

Please note the following:

 

o        If you do not make it to the next round, this amount will be paid back to you after the results are announced.

 

o        If selected, the amount would be utilized towards the fee for external training.

 

o        If selected and you do not join after the selection, you will have to forego the amount.

 

You will agree this is a fair approach.

 

Interview will be based on the learning mentioned on respective CVs. Candidate's potential to be placed in the team- meticulousness, commitment, sincerity, and employability are the criteria for the final selection.

 

Candidate then meets with the Senior Management and the decision to extend the offer is made based on the overall performance.

*   Why a commitment period to the Company?

We are sure you will appreciate the fact that there is a lot of training involved in the making of a Software Engineer. To start from scratch and arrive at the point where others would normally be five years later means a lot of time & effort from the company. It would be fair to assume that in the first one and a half years, you will be taking from the company without giving anything in return. For the company to recover the training expenses, you would have to put in a service of at least two years after you get trained. Remember, you are starting from the scratch and it is in your interest as well to stick to the company and grow within the company before starting to sell your skills.

 

* Why registration?

Uncomfortable topic as it is, it needs to be addressed - fairly and squarely. We have had candidates making it to final stage of interview and go back on the commitment and tell us on our faces that they had come just for the heck of attending the interview - to gain experience. We are sure, had you known what it is to be without a job, you would jump at the offer and go for it. At this time, the onus on the management is not only to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment program but also see to it that a fair chance is given to the persons who are genuinely interested in joining.

 

*   Am I expected to work in the Night Shifts?

 

Yes. We offer support to our clients on a 365x24x7 and need personnel on this basis.

 

 

*   Do I have to pay any money other than the registration fee and the Training Fee?

 

       

    No, you are not required to pay any amount other than the following:

 

           ---   Registration fee of Rs.100 is to be paid before the Screening Test.

           --- Security Deposit of Rs.15,000 is to be paid if you are selected in the Group Discussion and go on to the Technical Interview.

        If you do not make it to the next round this amount will be paid back to you after the results are announced.
